Phase 2 is like 200 or 300 wells in the reserves area surrounding the plant. If you assume 300 wells at average 120mcf/d at 3.4% helium in the reserves area over 350 days per year that's 0.43bcf per year of helium or about 7% of global helium demand of 6bcf/yr
Potentially wells can be fastracked using the sandstone area at 850mcf/d and 12% helium you'd only need about 12 wells for the same output to supply 7% of global demand per year.
Anyway just a thought given the delays but not sure where the sandstone area is situated compared to the plant and may make sense to tap into the reserves surrounding the plant location first. Also the long lead-time items for the Phase 2 plant are maybe 12 to 24 months and Renergen has about 2.5 to 3.5 years at a guess to drill up the 300 wells.
