Hey pick, Ed1 made a point over at KKO about the upcoming south african election which I repeat here, because it could put a brake on Slim Stef's plans in the good 'ol US of A;

Everyone hopes that the corrupt, incompetent and stupid ANC will be kicked out, but the end result may be some sort of coalition chaos.

However, we have a long wait ahead. Your April election date is too soon, from Wikipedia;
"The date of the elections will be set by the incumbent President, Cyril Ramaphosa, and must be within 90 days of the end of the term of the current Parliament, in mid May 2024."

So, the likely election date is July - August. I doubt the ANC will call an early election - they will want to keep their fat piggy snouts in the trough as long as possible".
