Not sure if that bit about whale oil is factually correct (I don’t recall any locomotives running on whale oil. It was used mainly for street lights I believe.) But be that as it may; we DO know that South Africa is desperately short of energy and gas is an ideal fuel for quick-start generation of electricity. For that reason alone I think Renergen’s future is assured EVEN IF the helium nut proved too strong to crack (which I don’t believe for a minute.)
