yep that’s not how it works, why would someone buy a token that has debt in a company as the underlying purpose of the token? Then someone would just sell that token (being debt) to someone else?

Why would anyone buy a token with the underlying purpose of a firm issuing it would be to buy back existing shares? That is just a pyramid scheme in practice

    Wouldn’t make any sense.

They’re using it as a means of a forward contract if there is any comparison to be made. These tokens, much like contracts can then be traded at a price and instead of a set delivery date like contracts, the idea is that they can approach Renergen with a token and are then entitled to x amount of helium based off initial purchase of tokens to begin with.

It is not a workaround for capital raise like the way I think you’re perceiving it to be.

Another thing to think about and I don’t know what the answer is.

how does this impact WACC? How do you go about calculating it.

    major grey area.
