    re: senator hill I'm no expert on the ASX Listing rules but as far as I know the qualification as to whether an ASX announcement is required is whether the new information is deemed to be "price sensitive". Given that the KAZ shares were unchanged after the announcement (via the press) one could conclude that KAZ's assumption that the information was not "price sensitive" proved correct. However, this information may have already been factored into the price as insiders bid up the price before the annoucnement. In any event, the contract win is significant, given the Canberra market has been dominated by multinationals. Go the KAZ!
