Congratulations - thats quite a sophisticated analysis (coming from someone who has worked directly in the sector for over 15 years). The dilemma arises from the 3 objectives I posted on the other thread that aren't necessarily compatible.
If the country chooses to ignore the cost objective, it will be at its economic peril - that factor is our major competitive advantage (because we are a high cost labour country). Coal generation (without interference) is cheap and reliable.
