The idea is to split ammonia back to H2 and N2 using CSIRO's new membrane tech at point of demand.

Quick literature search, very active field NH3 -> (H2, N2), but need an expert to comment how probable it is to fit the tech within a car, or whether it's done at a fueling station, or larger still at regional centers, with H2 transport making the final trip to fueling stations. At a guess, probably start at regional sized centers as it would be economy of scale and compatible to the seed number of H2 fueling stations dotting the globe.

Absolutely huge if successful, but CSIRO would only have first market entry with their membrane tech, as other players would be close behind.
