Hydrogen is an extremely small molecule, its difficult to store without leaking out and has low density. petrol is good because it is a liquid at room temp (high density). Commercial use they are talking about storing it in tanks at 350 times atm pressure... Can you imagine what would happen in an accident?

I dont think there is any consumer use case for hydrogen..this isnt the hydrogen cars first time around the block.. industrial power generation maybe.
