The NSW Berejiklian government is throwing more money at renewables.

They never ever say the price of electricity produced.

My power bill in Victoria has risen to a staggering 31.55 cents per KWH.
On lignite (brown coal) it was 17c KWH.

NSW Minister for Energy and Environment Matt Kean says the Berejiklian government's ambitious renewable energy plan will see the state producing some of "the cheapest energy anywhere in the world".

"This is a game-changer for energy and for industry policy in New South Wales," he said.

"This is our plan to modernise the grid, create jobs, drive investment into NSW - $58 billion of investment by the 2040s - and also deliver some of the cheapest energy anywhere in the world."

The Berejiklian government has launched an ambitious plan to generate $32 billion in private sector investment to boost its energy infrastructure, particularly in renewable energy, as part of its $58 billion plan.

Mr Kean said the infrastructure would create 6,300 new jobs in regional Australia, with 2,800 of those jobs ongoing.

Mr Kean also failed to mention the cost to users.
