A major problem with renewable power has always been the control or lack of it in the supply chain
A multitude of miniature power stations is far harder and far more inefficient than a couple of conventional power stations
The UK has seen unacceptable costs in just paying the producers to stop producing power as the system can't cope, the latest being three million pounds a day not to produce
So even if you forget the visual and noise pollution of 86 wind farms (more in the pipe line) you have to wonder is the move to renewables actually cost effective or just an expensive fad forced upon the public
