    "emissions are in fact - NOT the priority. Keeping power going". ... crikey pinot you could have said that in 2 sentences instead of 1 sententious rambling.

    puzzle me this pinot. what stops the country producing enough electricity? is it simply demand? of maybe production is inadequate? we have coal plants in operation, well at least partly, right now and we can't manage summer and winter peaks of demand.

    so we build more renewable into the system and it leaves large gaps in supply. putting even more demand of the ailing, failing grid while ailing failing and flailing pollies dither about what to do.

    so clearly renewable energy with storage is inadequate. now lets ditch the black and whit4e an submit that a country can do more than one thing at a time. the only problem is a) politics and b) money. we can't do anything about the former but we can do about the latter. agreed?
