    There are periods when the wind doesn't blow all over Australia and it didn't blow for 27 consecutive days in SA a while back
    There is not much prospect of having enough storage to run whole the country for several days, even if it were possible the cost would be impossible.
    We are a long way from batteries being economical enough to provide for anything but short term frequency control .
