This is from slide 18 of the last shareholder update on the 15/November 2011. I must say I had little faith in CZD extracting any value from AOD9604, however I may have let past experience cloud my judgement.

"–Engaged PolyPeptide Laboratories, Inc (PPL) to produce a feasibility batch of AOD9604 using Fmoc chemistry
–GRAS status will be dependent on the Fmoc chemistry producing same or better quality AOD604 as the previously used Boc chemistry – to be reviewed by GA"

It may be that the new manufacturing method produces a better more resiliant peptide that might not suffer the same fate in the gut as the original. Only guessing and we need an update on this from the company when they have confirmation of successful manufacture.

Am giving CZD a buy because of the nearness of some news
