Well Grizzly you have come up with a good post I believe. Thanks for the B&S heads up. I did a quick stock comparison of Clinuvel to B&S (BSGR in Amsterdam) and for two completely different companies it was quite amazing. They both had peaks in 2021 and then almost matching steady marches down in shareprice and lo and behold a takeover offer for B&S at an extremely low price (which is what I believe is happening with Clinuvel share price manipulation). I don't follow B&S so I have to do a lot of research but I do follow Clinuvel and the artificial nature of it's share price development is obvious for all to see (eg nearly always closing near daily lows 1 to 2% below VWAP for years). We all know they have peerless financial performance compared to any other small/tiny Biotech, but any company that keeps growing revenues and profits and EPS, usually correlates that with a rising share price, especially when markets are at ATHs and they also have an absolute monopoly and have near term and very realistic blockbuster possibilities. CUV the most shorted Biotech never made much sense except as a takeover play scenario, their growth is obvious and the potential is enormous. And there is really a minuscule number (if any apart from CUV) of cash printing, FDA approved, monopolistic Biotech companies that just keep growing and have this type of valuation - like I said about Clinuvel they will never find an acquisition as attractive as they are right now. That makes the lack of share buyback after such strong statements to the ASX is another mystery when most companies just go out and buyback their shares in a straightforward manner when they state they will do that.

Nearmap also was totally unrelated to Clinuvel and followed the same price graph while being shorted like CUV and they were also taken over. Healthscope might have been another dodgy take over but I can't really remember that one and need to refresh my memory. Anyway you have given me lots of work to do in reading up stuff and translating. There are significant differences between B&S and CUV, ownership being a big factor, but definitely interesting to compare. It was always a mystery why that guy became our Chairman, I suspected it might have been to do with synergies related to a rollout of a viral tanning photocosmetic product but that never eventuated and the tanning photocosmetic is now slated for next year. Could someone better at graphics and charting start a thread with a 5 year BSGR/ CUV share price comparison then we can add in profit,EPS comparison which Clinuvel have performed extremely well in and not justifying their current manipulated low valuation. Decoupling from value I think they said 12 months ago when Clinuvel was not as cashed up, strong or profitable as today yet was about 40 or 50% higher valued.

    All IMO DYOR

ps do the buyback, it looks dodgy as when you don't
