i see around a 6% short. If i was short, CUV id be looking to cover around these levels. There's too much risk. The other companies you are comparing to in terms of short have all been in a recent uptrend with potential to roll over now. Most shorters will not stand in the way of momentum to the upside. it's like picking pennies up in front of a steam roller. CUV had been in a consistent downtrend and has been a fantastic short from a technical perspective. A nice blow off top and a rollover couple that with removals from major indexes due to market cap decreasing. Selling creates selling. Happens time and time again. Rinse and repeat.

If and when the market turns around (short-term low is in, in my opinion) & it can reclaim the 200DMA as i noted prior, the shorts will cover, I have no doubt.

These are the reasons im a technical trader rather than a buy and hold. Its too easy to be caught in a 4 year down trend crying for management to be evicted and starting to read tea leaves. We are all emotional beings. Clinuvels management has always had a Warren buffet style approach. Safe and conservative, keeping cash buffers extremely elevated, in bull markets this makes peoples eyes roll while in bear markets people are thankful. This unfortunately doesn't sell hopes and dreams to retail and fund managers, which in turn doesn't draw much attention to itself. I see business as usual with some serious potential upside when it catches a bid and the momentum turns. Good luck !
