The political situation is much more suited now to a takeover of Woodside .... when Costello gave the Prohibition Order in mid 2001 Labour was on a roll (preTampa) to win the up-coming election and Costello pandered to the WA coalition members-voters in its rejection of a Shell takeover.
My prediction is a takeover will eventuate over the next 2 months..... around $16.50.
