The new shares are damn good value with a grossed up or pre tax yield of over 9%.
Not sure I agree with you about timing in the mkt, timing is a fickle beast but time in the mkt does count .
Like you our cost base is low but it does include buying during the GFC at $13 and buying on market at $35 plus later on.
So we are not that smart when it comes to timing!
What matters is the average cost per share but more importantly the decision to accumulate shares in a quality business over TIME.
