I spoke to a lady last week who told me she was getting married in March next year and her boyfriend wanted to buy a home. I told her a whole new development would be announced soon nearby. I don't know what that will do to the prices when they are built but I did notice a suburb we looked in has come down around it.
She said they were living with her parents and she didn't want to buy at all for another few years, just wanted to save until she could buy outright. She is working two part time jobs and he just got retrenched off one and was worried that was going to happen again.
