dont believe the bleak crystal ball predictions that you read on this forum ...your property is in the lower end of the range,(going by the rent received)...those properties produce the best results in these times....including capital growth....
I cannot recall where your property is, but it is just as likely to grow 20-30% in the next year, while the higher priced ones flat line.
Then when the market bounces back within 2 years...you will be more than satisfied with your asset.
Interest rates at 6%...how easy is that...
just enjoy your life...the rental will look after itself...
you will get a tax refund within a few weeks...a lump sum, after claiming all costs, plus depreciation, building allowances etc...
the $80 bucks a week, is like a forced saving plan....which most would never do, until they bought a house...
then you get a refund of that back...to invest again...
maybe a capital reno that will give you another large refund next year...
