    i think i will stick to my own rules of investment, thanks,

    i own my house,

    i own my rental property

    but i dont own my farm yet,

    advice to my kids is pure and simple,

    A) don't listen to well meaning advice from people who still rent and work for commissions,

    this one brings me back to the clowns that were bagging FMG back at start up stage, i made a lot of money on FMG BECAUSE I DIDNT LISTEN TO THEM,

    oh and what about extract resources, you all remember that one dont you, yes i owned that one too and sold very well,

    oh and one more which was SIR which is now IGO shares in and receive divvies in, i havent sold that and i will continue to hold,

    B) buy a house and live in it,

    C) dont spend more than what you earn

    and most importantly,

    D) pay yourself first before paying any bills, that means put at least half of what you earn straight in the bank and don't touch it even if you want something, wait and see if the temptation subsides,

    and buy a house now

    and buy a house now,

    and buy a house now,

    in 45 years you will thank me for the decsion to buy a house and hold it until retirement in the mean time you can and will be able to leverage of it to your significant benefits,

    just my 2 bobs worth,

    i read the article and ill take my own advice, it has served me well and my grandparents,
