I concur with you.... as a landlord, I have a constant problem with the agents.. we have no control over who the agent chooses to employ.... it is up to us to be alerted to what they are up to... most of the time, the agents keep us in the dark
it is a constant hassle on our part....to sort the wheat from the chaff...in regards to the agent..
not all agents are 'used car salesman' types
but it is a 'dime a dozen market'
I like to get to know my agent's rep.....and I lay down the law to them, to do the right thing....and to keep me informed... I take a 'hands on approach' myself.... that attitude is in my best interest, in managing my investment portfolio
