Eventually it will go as currently it benefits a much higher % of one generation compared to others
Its not a question of fair or unfair
As demographics change politicians will adapt to the "new status quo"
Whilst i support negative gearing to offseg my higher tax bracket i am realistic regarding its long term existence.
One can draw comparisons to marijuana legalization in the US
As the older generation who opposed legalization gradually became a smaller % of the voting public legalization became a reality
