You are entitled to ignore reality that is your choice

a lot of people ignored reality during the tech boom, probably still wondering where their money went

I am sure there are a lot of people who ignored the reality of the property boom in Japan, US and now UK, be interesting to see how long it takes for them to get out of debt

I now of a number of property investors who ignored the fact prices were over inflated due to a boom that was different this time in the late 80's early 90's they eventually got out of their investments without losing money did take about 10 years though

Not arguing property is not a good investment, it is and it will recover some time in the future but in until it does a lot of greedy people and newcomers to investing are going to get burnt and be taught some very important facts about investing.
