The other option is to lease it on a sharefarming basis where the land owner gets 25% of the gross that would show returns up to 15% with slightly more risk in dry years.The capital growth in this land will out perform any other investment. The land should be worth between $750 and $1000/acre within 5 years.Because of the $AUS these farmers are achieving huge prices for their grain and world shortages of wheat and global warming will underpin these prices for years to come.
