When you build a house make sure the house price close to equivalence value of the land. You don't want to build a $150k house construction on a $700k land in a nice burn, or $700K house on a $150k land in a distant suburb. You'll have a hard time selling it. To build a nice double storey architecture house nowadays cost $350k-$400k all up....... 15 years ago to build the same architecture house cost $200k-$250k all up.
