Indian(s) and/or students still want to come. They are ready to come. You could line up 60,000 people ready to come to AUS or UK or Cannada..etc today. The problem that Indians face is that they are not being granted visa's to come.. Like there is a 'freeze' on people from the sub-continet. However plenty still arriving from Korea, Japan and other asian countries.
So property will still be a viable investment vehicle...i think
