Free will, yes you are right i have only commented on the Hervey bay market which is very much tourist based and a fair few retirees.
Had the boom a 4-5 years back,was hard to get a rental property so many tradies around, we brought a house boat on the gold coast, sailed it to Hervey bay and lived on that for 3 years, great fun but kids growing up so decided to sell and rent for a while, pleased we did as house prices have come down at LEAST 20% i would say. (boat prices more, we were lucky)
We enjoy renting, and plenty of the new appartments/ houses to choose from.
IMO the Hervey bay market still has further to fall, regards Bailey
