Thanks molonksi..
Fair enough. Point taken..
Just seems like a finger is pointed towards renters who live an ok life :) Renters don't have to live miserably.. wearing shabby clothes, bomb cars...
Our family live as expat in SEAsia for nearly 10 years, and despite my husband's salary, we're living in a rental property (albeit an expensive one, provided by his company), kids go to an expensive international (private) school (paid by his co), two brand new cars (1 is co car), holidays, restaurants, etc..
We have more than enough cash to buy an australian house outright, but we're still RENTERS given the circumstances.
cheers
