bassyabbie----how does around 500k grow with around 50% of the earn gone ,eroded by tax and long term depreciation of cash,personally i would rather spend the cash on equity and gear another 50%,just tls shares would earn 49k plus hopefully franking credits with the possibility of capital gain or geared to 750k around 74k plus hopefully franking credits,and the possibility of capital gain
two reasonable homes in my area would gross around 36-38k pa.more than enough to service a 250k loan.
i just dont get it unless of course you are waiting for that once in a lifetime opportunity,other than that its sit down do nuthin money workin for the man.
i would rather trust the market and my own freedom of choice than believe in cash
