I was just listening to one of these asset rich cash poor property investors on abc radio.
You know the type, the ones who can't travel anywhere or do anything to enjoy life except say they own x number of properties.
Anyway he was saying that after damage to properties and all the costs involved eg agents fees the actual amount he gets is 2% on the cost of property.
So are way supposed to feel sorry for him?
should we feel sorry for a fool.
He made his decision years ago
Put your money in shares. Live off the divis and franking
the return is much greater and you'll actually have money to spend and enjoy your life.
