Michael,

I'm assuming (since the original post was about rents) you are saying that rents will come down after the first home buyers grant is abolished. How do you figure that? If anything, I would assume it would put more pressure on rents with gen y renting instead of having the opportunity to borrow.

Also makes me laugh when people blame others in here for putting rents up. Basic supply and demand. What do you expect landlords to do?
