Mixed fortunes this week, as cerium and lanthanum oxide prices power ahead

Certain rare earth prices continue to spiral this week, with cerium oxide prices up to as high as $10.50/kg FOB China up from $6.7-7.1/kg last week, representing a jump of over 30%. Meanwhile, lanthanum oxide prices for 99% material are also climbing fast, reaching $12/kg this week up from $7.1-8.1/kg last week. All of these increases are on the back of the radically reduced amount of Chinese rare



These prices haven't been included in the last published basket prices for Arafura and Lynas as well: We will see on Monday!
