The comment I have left in above is a important statement. It is what I have highlighted on many occassions. There is a serious risk that assets with huge valuations currently on BCLs balancesheet will actually be worth nothing. Meaning liquid assets is likely to be the value of the company.

IMO, there is no way BCL will end up with a tenement they can mine. Why would the locals, who fought a war over the rights to control Panguna and its profits, allow the pre-war company to continue mining. Its insane for people to believe that, and if they do believe that, then they need to go to Bougainville and understand the sentiment and thinking of the people.
