Michel Marier is a non-executive director at Toro Energy. He has also been for many years an investment manager and Partner at Sentient Equity Partners based in the Cayman Islands. Sentient is the second largest share holder in Toro Energy. In my opinion this effectively gives the Toro Energy board carte blanche to do as they see fit.
