For a listed company, the performance of CEO is related to the share price. TOE is a small MC company, total MC is only about A$60m, however, the cash salary of RH is above $500k and his total remuneration is more than $1m, it totally doesn't match.
The major job of RH is to put share price higher and higher, create value for shareholders, let MC of TOE to match his remuneration.
As a shareholder, I only care about the share price. If I can't make money, why I should pay so high remuneration to CEO.
