each to their own - but watso voted for howard (through the direction of his preference) - and now cannot believe that people could vote for that slimeball again. it seems that the primary votes, as indicated by the polling, is probably those die hard liberal supporters - the voters in the middle, like watso, have learned their lesson, and flocking to the alp in droves.

howard can only manage a "fairweather economy", rules for the "haves" and not the have nots. it is not without good reason that he is viewed as tricky (cosby textor research). with work choices, he showed tht he was not interested in the so called "howard battlers". supporting an illegal war, with bush, showed that he was not interested in the rule of law - or whatever, as the invasion of iraq was basically illegal - as it had no united nations support, and iraq was not a threat to the united states. and then howard, left an australian citizens to be tortured by the americans - when the british had the snse to tell the americans that they wanted thier citizens home

sorry - to those die hard liberals - but it is time for our democracy to have a change - and for us plebs to be fooled by the other side (which no doubt we will be)
