Interesting he has left it open to suggestions about how he could help.

here is his reply:

Thank you for the email and drawing my attention to the plight of Ventracor.

In my role as Shadow Innovation, Industry, Science and Research Minister, I had not been made aware of this company’s plight.

Unfortunately, it is not dissimilar to a number of other companies who are suffering very real problems as a result of a number of decisions taken by the Rudd Government. In the current circumstances it appears as though there were internal conflicts that may have led to this most unfortunate situation.

I don’t believe that I am in a position to be able to necessarily do anything about this particular issue, but given the circumstances and having it drawn to my attention will undoubtedly make me better informed.

If you believe there is something I could usefully do, please let me know.
