    Hi simonhhh,

No, not delusional. If you were a sufferer, you would find it hard to miss the press on Cvac - because you would be looking.

The factors are probably how long it takes to get a visa, and whether there are any other impediments to getting one for a long enough period when you are unwell - and as well as the cash, whether you have the sheer mental and physical strength to do it.

I would expect ME population would find it relatively easy to go to that hospital in Dubai if they wanted to - it is referred to as a regional hub for healthcare in the ME.

Although we have scant detail, the cvac Dubai site posted that to qualify, you must have stage 3 or 4 and be in remission.

Aside from that, the main restriction on the number who may be treated would be availability. Hard to have an informed guess at this stage, but it is hard to imagine they are geared up for anything like large-scale production.

Like was described in the article philbar posted, the Dubai treatments seems to be a 'pilot commercialisation'.

To me, it is distinguished from the FDA trials primarily by the fact that those 'enrolled' will be 'paying customers' and that it is that which qualifies it as 'commercialisation', in that context. The term does not mean its very widespread use - as it will if it passes phase III FDA trials.

Of course, it involves both a risk and an opportunity.

Monitoring and reporting 'scientific findings' in that context will be different and PRR will need to establish very firm ground to asociate any claims with it - unless the results are spectacular.

You can imagine what the 'trading posters' who benefit from SP volatility and who therefore have a financiaol motive to sow seeds of doubt will be able to do with any positive 'inferences' drawn from this 'pilot commercialisation'.
