My point is why would they not announce such positive news, particularly as there is so much conjecture surrounding the validity of the Varm Cosmo deal?

Good point! I thought this was the premise of the email initially sent to the company from which the response was the commencement of this thread...

I would prefer the payment to be confirmed by the management. It would likely be SP positive in my opinion. In saying that, one could view the current situation as an opportunity to acquire MXC shares at a discount.
