But seriously, hasn't it occurred to people that in a recession, when revenues are down, some tenants may have no choice but to default on rents? That's why recessions are bad.

If rents can be maintained, dividends can be maintained, what's to worry about recessions? Giving us too much yield to spend?

I'm a bit surprised by today's price action though. The poor result was pretty much known a few days ago, so the professional investors should have been done with their selling by yesterday (large volume selling over the past few days). Either they have too much to unload, or today's selling was mostly done by retail.
