thanks FS for your long rely to bbrad.

Your post are always read with interest !!

For meejohny and FS, join the dads' club of teenage daughters who think they are 21 and talk as if the have the experience of a professor!

I came across a book recently that have given me great insight into their 'brain'. perhaps they may help you 'dads'.

*How to really love your teenagers*
by a professor/author who is co-author of another book,
    "The five language of love".

    The gist are

    - teenagers' brain-cells are not fully connected (till approx age 21), so tho physically they grow bigger and taller, but their 'maturity' swings from age 6 to 16 in the space of hours. Sometime they 'behave' like adults, sometime like kids.

-fill up their 'emotional tank' regularly, i.e,
Teens need to know that you love them; more by dads/mums' actions, than by words.

Another book that a friend highly recomm is
"Before your teenagers drive you crazy".
Will get it and read soon.

    Have fun!
