IM Medical shareholders have finally approved the company’s takeover of Melbourne Specialist imaging, almost six months after the deal was first mooted.





Shareholders voted in favour of the transaction at a meeting late last week.

The deal was due to be closed towards the middle of the year, but delays in the production of an independent expert’s report on the transaction forced the company to put off a shareholder vote.

The report was finally released in June, and dropped the valuation of the imaging group to $2.8 million, down from the $3.27 million originally agreed.
