Makes sense to me.
There has to be limitations on what the client is responsible for. A cyclone bearing down with potentially damaging winds and sea swell which requires the evac of the rig is hardly Kar or Cop's issue. That's what insurance is for. If they got back on board and found damage done which caused a month or 2 delay for repairs, is that paid for by Kar and Cop??..hardly.
