INDUSTRY TRANSACTIONS, AN INSIGHT TO VALUE
Between 2008 and 2010, four relevant WA based iron ore corporate transactions were completed. The value of
these transactions produced an implied value of between 26 and 52 cents per resource tonne.
The implied values are generalisations and only indicative, as they do not take account of the JORC status of the
resource, quality of the resource, potential infrastructure or relative operating costs or other assets of the companies
(of which a zero value is implied).
Based on comparable transactions this implies a current value of the Magnetite Range resource in the range $102
million to $203 million.
