In the end the agreement with ISIS was a big plus for America.

It was a great multi-package offer.

They could join the SDF, which many did and would continue to be paid by the US directly (no beards allowed) then via the CIA/Saudi's or they get an escort back to Europe (via Turkey) to their generous welfare paid entitlement plan until they are required for the next big Saudi/Wahhabi terrorist operation (Afghanistan, Central Asia, Philippines, Central Africa or Myanmar). So many wonderful destination's to choose from all with active US bases near (I hear Philippino sex slaves are cheap this time of year). In addition ISIS agreed as part of the relocation package to hand over their oil fields near Deir Ezzor to the local SDF and Arab bribed proxy forces, which is why they were able to advance hundreds of km's with little or no shots fired.

Those who were less enthusiastic with the agreement and liked their current sun drenched location and beards were told to head towards the Syrian government lines to slow their advance as part of the relocation strategy so the SDF could grab more land for the US quicker.
