Pure speculation but . . . .
Macquarie has a history of surprsing pleasantly come reporting time. I have a gut feeling that Mac Bank overstated the downside to earnings in their last outlook and will produce a report that is not as bad as the market has priced in. We have had a good run in the markets since the outlook announcement and hopefully this will be reflected in the earnings.
