i wonder when they are required to pay that dividend declared last year?
obviously they can't before april 09, but say for example they perfom asset sales in the next year to retire short term debt, i assume they would pay it then?
maybe i am dreaming to thinking i will ever get this div?
but Allco for example was a shareholder at record date but not now. they are entitled to 5c dividend. will they ever get it? i guess it is favouring current shareholders over the shareholders at record date that may be off the register now. how long are they able to act that way, and are they only able to do this in situations where paying the div would cause a default.?
