Very interesting to keep tracking Clinuvel's closest comparison stock in Disc (both are primarily concerned with EPP right now). Disc are valued at a whopping $2.7 Billion AUD compared to Clinuvel just $0.5 Billion. Which is amazing when you see that highly profitable Clinuvel is a far, far superior company in nearly every way IMO. Disc burning about $1 Million every 2 days as they just keep chewing up their cash reserves in the hope of bringing their lead drug for EPP to market without completing a phase 3 trial and on the back of a phase 2 that failed on time in sunlight compared to placebo?? The Disc chief medical officer just sold another bunch of shares which has been happening quite a bit this year at Disc. Raymond James just started coverage of Disc and whacked a massive PT on them, I wonder if they have ever heard of Clinuvel now they have someone based in the States for this sort of thing? Probably could talk about stuff like Vitiligo impacting 1 or 2 percent of the planet, distribution network of 120 US centres, about $800 Million AUD for years 1-2 shown regularly to the ASX, stuff that Disc could only dream about. As usual another interesting paradox surrounding Clinuvel, all important shorting data below.

No change to open shorts for latest day ASIC data available. Important to keep tracking this data as we can all see how lightly traded Clinuvel is and there are nearly 3 Million open shorts to be bought back by real shares and there are only 50 Million CUV shares out there. The introduction of 3 Million shorts has been destructive for the valuation, share price, and sentiment surrounding Clinuvel, even as they continue growing profits and a massive cash pile year after year. Also with the blockbuster potential of Vitiligo not far off due to the phase 3 which is running towards finality with 210 patients recruited in a trial which is showing very positive signs from a drug which is already FDA approved.
