re: tatts takeover before listing ??? Im not fully up to speed with whats happening on this one.
I had some shares in Rattoon Holdings (trading on the newcastle stock exchange) until just recently.
I believe they also claim some right to Tatts .
Funny enough my "unmarketable parcel" was sold up at 50cps because I didnt respond in time. A few weeks after the cheque showed up, I read in the FIN Review that the shares might actually be worth a whole lot more!
And of course the Rattoon shares which I had sold for 50c were suddenly trading at 75.
Burned again. Such is life.
