The most significant lines I read in this announcement was :
A trial pit has been designed for this location with the intention to mine 500,000 tonnes of resource per annum over a two year period. This would yield about 3000 tonnes of contained nickel metal and about 300 tonnes of contained cobalt metal from a planned demonstration/pilot plant operation. Approvals will be sought from the various Government Departments to allow this demonstration/pilot plant operation to proceed.
The way things are panning out, looks like the JV is almost a done deal (or is DP jumping the gun here???!!!!)...He has already started planning for the Trial plant @ 3000tpa Ni...This is very positive thinking IMO...
